1D06 - Angela Allison

Angela Allison proudly serves SMD 1D06, representing Northern Columbia Heights and Mount Pleasant neighborhoods. As Chair, she’s been effective at organizing the Commission around shared values to consider community priorities. Over two terms, Commissioner Allison has combined grassroots listening with targeting policy advocacy to accomplish real results. With a focus on quality-of-life issues, she considered speed humps and trash cans to be among her greatest accomplishments.

Commissioner Allison lives in Mount Pleasant with her husband and little dog, Monty. Her favorite thing about being an ANC commissioner is the relationships she's built with fellow commissioners and community members. Her favorite neighborhood activities are mulch days with the Mount Pleasant Village, Brown Street Happy Hours, and the annual Holiday light competition.
