The Department of Human Services reports the Hypothermia Alert will be deactivated at 7:00 AM. According to National Weather Service the current temperature is 42 degrees with a wind chill of 38 degrees. No precipitation is expected. Today's forecast is cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 55. South wind 5 to 13 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 22 mph.Hypothermia season has begun. When the actual or forecasted temperature, including wind chill, is 32 degrees or below, the District issues a Hypothermia Alert.
